Where better to work on your writing than the grounds of a Lodge in Windsor Great Park? As part of my summer season of retreats to support the creativity of artists, writers and researchers, I’ve been spending time at Cumberland Lodge, leading guided writing sessions, wild poetry walks and sharing hints and tips to make the writing process less stressful, more productive.
As a facilitator, Kim created a positive, supportive environment that grew into a genuine community over the time of the retreat. Her discussions on writing craft were led with a light touch that delivered substance without feeling classroom-y. Overall, the writing retreat was a positive and productive experience that has boosted my commitment to my PhD project.
